Greg Booth
Greg Booth BA, BS
Greg graduated from Chico State University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Education. He then went on to graduate magna cum laude from Daemen College with a Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Therapy. He has continued his education with classes for Osteopathic Muscle Energy Techniques through Michigan State and Functional Mobilization principles through the Institute of Physical Art. Mr.. Booth has also completed up to Level Three course work through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy.
Greg began working at Neurosport Rehabilitation Associates in 1991. He has also been involved in providing Athletic Training to local High Schools since this time. In 1994, Mr. Booth began working as a part time Physical Therapist for Professional Home Care Associates. In 2003, he was hired as a secondary instructor for the Institute of Physical Art for their Functional Mobilization continuing education classes.
Mr. Booth has extensive experience in treating Neurologic and Orthopedic injuries. In 2004, He received acknowledgment for his specialty by becoming a Certified Functional Manual Therapist (CFMT). Mr. Booth also was acknowledge in 2006 as a Orthopedic Certified Specialist,(OCS), by the American Physical Therapy Association.
As of today, Greg is managing the Stivers office at Neurosport. He has spent countless hours in providing treatment for sport, orthopedic and neurologic injuries by using the Functional Mobilization approach. This treatment emphasizes correcting joint dysfunction then improving the patient's efficiency in utilizing their new motion. Mr. Booth is also able to give prescriptive home exercises to enable the patient to progress with their rehabilitation on an independent basis.
