OUR TEAM

Our clinic is staffed with Physical Therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistants who are passionate about your care, will work with you individually and will always be available to discuss your progress and goals. With our experience in a multitude of injuries and our commitment to learning new techniques and treatments through continuing education classes, you will notice a positive difference. We treat elementary age children to seniors.

Neurosport is a member of leading organizations in the physical therapy field including the American Physical Therapy Association, the California Independent Practice Physical Therapy Association and the National Athletic Trainers Association. Our therapists mentor local high school and college students and teach interns from numerous physical therapy programs.

Matthew Stauffer, DPT

Matthew is our Fremont Office Clinical Manager and DPT.  Originally from South-western Pennsylvania, Matthew moved to the Bay Area in 2006.  He is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Kinesiology and Psychology.  He attended Slippery Rock University School of Physical Therapy where he received his Doctorate in Physical therapy. He currently practices in the outpatient setting where he treats a verity of orthopedic/musculoskeletal injuries and postoperative orthopedic surgery patients.  His special interest is in the rehabilitation of total knee and hip replacements.  In his spare time he enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife and two young sons.  His sports interests are football, hockey, basketball, and golf.

 


Jared Mason, DPT

Jared received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Sacramento State in 2015.  He loves to help others get back to the life and activities they enjoy that their pain was preventing them from.  He has a passion to treat every patient as a whole and not just body parts on a diagnosis.  He believes there is a mind/body connection and both need to be addressed in the healing process.  His goal is to work with each patient on achieving their goals and is looking forward to helping you on the journey to recovery.

 


Tommy Oviatt, PTA

Tommy was born and raised here in Fremont.  He left for a brief period to obtain his Bachelors Degree in Biology from the university of California Santa Cruz.  He then returned to Fremont to complete his Associate Degree for Physical Therapy Assistant from Ohlone College.  Tommy’s passion for Physical Therapy began after recovering from a back injury and surgery.  Outside the office Tommy enjoys spending time with his wife and four children traveling, camping, and various sporting activities.

 


Myles Bowie, DPT

A Bay Area native, Mlyes passion for the study of how the body moves began at a young age upon becoming involved in martial arts.  His interest was further intensified upon becoming involved in Yoga while attending school at Ohlone College.  Myles Graduated with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Lome Linda University and is practising in the outpatient setting.  Outside the clinic, Myles enjoys practising Yoga, Aikido, rock climbing, and hiking.

 


Mike Ostrowski, MSPT

Mike graduated with his MSPT from the University of the Pacific in Stockton in 1997.  He has experience treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions.  He takes multiple continuing education classes every year to learn the latest techniques and theories. His treatment of musculoskeletal imbalances and biomechanical dysfunctions consists of manual therapy, functional training, strengthening and empowering his patients to help themselves.  In his free time, Mike enjoys hiking, backpacking, travel, woodworking and playing volleyball.
