North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT)
An organization dedicated to the advancement of orthopaedic manual therapy in the United States. NAIOMT is based on the Canadian Manual Therapy system, and shares their senior instructors; Erl Pettman, Cliff Fowler, Jim Meadows and Diane Lee. NAIOMT is an open non-dogmatic series of courses, and examinations that can lead to certification in manual therapy. |
Each 3 or 6 day course is part of a four level series that builds on the preceeding courses, but each can be taken in isolation for a stimulating continuing education experience. Starting at level III is inadvisable if the participant has taken no postgraduate courses in joint mobilization. Level IV has strict pre-requisites.
